i got 25/35 at my race in fair hill, it was a killer race and if i spent less time in the big ring (as i thought i was in the middle one) i may have had more energy to go faster. thats the boring news...

this new stuff from shimano REALLY piqued my interest today, as i am ALWAYS looking for new things to buy. would 10 speeds make me faster-probably not. would i pretend like i was faster if i had 10 speeds- defiantly yes. i have been thinking about going 2x9 as all the cool pro-style pros ride that (or so it seems), but 2x10 would be even cooler cause i could buy new stuff. id probably do it cheaply and just get the cassette and shifter. the pricing isnt too bad either:
