fair hill

racing in fair hill, md was kinda unfair to me. the race started out well and i was in the upper third of my group. about 14 miles into my race i broke my chain and ended up walking out of the woods (a crazy 5 mile walk). i was real upset and i did not even feel like crossing the finish line. i did get some ok pre-race and pre-bad-mood photos of me.

bike upgrades

i just got my chris king bb in and i promptly installed it on my bike, i dont notice any difference from the xt one but it looks sexy and maybe itll last forever. it also has serviceable bearings so on race days i can throw in some thin grease so i roll faster- i think ill be doing that this thursday at my hopefully-not-rained-out race.

though i havent had much time to ride recently due to real bad weather (3 races were canceled in the last month) and work, i did do a cool wheelie
